About us
At Kalliopi Support Services, our guiding principles are kindness, commitment to identity, authenticity, and purpose with the intent of benefiting our participants. These values influence every aspect of how we work, ensuring a supportive and empowering environment for everyone we serve.

Empowering independence
We empower participants to make their own choices and live more independently by developing plan goals that match their aspirations. These goals are broken down into smaller, achievable steps, prioritising what’s most important now and building towards future success. For instance, we assisted a participant experiencing homelessness. Their goals were to find work, secure housing, and obtain a driver's license. We prioritised securing housing first, followed by rebuilding healthy habits and self-care routines, before focusing on employment and, finally, driving skills.

Our story
Kalliopi Support Services was inspired by my grandmother, an immigrant who advocated for others in her community despite facing her own challenges. She instilled in me the values of judgement-free kindness, the importance of listening, and striving for continuous self-improvement. Since 2012, I have worked in various community sectors, including childcare, aged care, and disability services, supporting complex clients and drawing from my own lived experiences. As a support coordinator, I am dedicated to empowering participants, helping them achieve their goals, and fostering ongoing development.

What makes us different
As a neurodivergent person, I bring a unique lived experience to support coordination. This provides an understanding that others may not have, even with extensive experience in the field. My background in early childhood education has exposed me to a wide range of situations and diagnoses, allowing me to gather diverse insights and approaches. Participants can expect a deeply empathetic and understanding partnership, focused on their individual needs and goals.
